Alan Benson, Assistant General Manager, saw the Certification as a way to improve business operations and strengthen the hotel's green efforts. The hotel has already established several waste reduction and recycling initiatives. "The Eco Carolinas Certification process provides a roadmap to improve our green internal business processes. Environmental efforts are a part of our continuous improvement," noted Benson.
